Porsche 914 & 914/6 Maintenance Booklets

A Short Run
For the 1970 - 1973 model years, Porsche 914 and 914/6
vehicles were equipped with a small booklet designed to
encourage and track completion of recommended scheduled
maintenance. This document is comprised of a lead page wherein
vehicle-specific information is recorded (VIN, chassis serial
number, engine serial number, date of purchase, etc.), pages
containing the recommended maintenance schedule and pages
of "dealer stamp" boxes to verify completion of specific
activities at the suggested intervals. When used properly,
this booklet provides a convenient record of both needed and
completed scheduled maintenance.
This standalone maintenance record is housed in a
brownish-red plastic cover (matching the owner's manual cover)
with a clear plastic window to the vehicle information page.
Beginning with the 1974 model year, the maintenance record
information and stamp pages were incorporated into the owner's
manual as the final section entitled "Maintenance Record." The
separate booklet was no longer provided..
